Chris is a Partner with two decades of experience in both architecture and engineering. He graduated from Fairmont State College with a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering and from Virginia Tech with a Master of Architecture. His experience and education in both disciplines gives him a unique and comprehensive understanding of his projects. Chris is a registered architect and a member of the American Institute of Architects.
Chris is especially skilled in not only project management, but also client relations. He initially joined the A/E industry because of his passion for experiencing profound and meaningful built environments, but now says that the people are what he enjoys most about his job.
“While my career started as design focused, I later realized that my passion is working with the people that inhabit, work, and play within the spaces that we create,” Chris says.
Chris works in multiple studios, including K-12, higher education, municipal, and special projects. He is currently working on the Joan Perry Brock Center, Longwood University’s new convocation and event space.
