This multi-phased project for Chesapeake Health Department involved two building additions, interior renovations, and various site improvements. The first phase provided a two-story, 13,500 SF building addition to accommodate administrative and special program space, as well as other related support space needs. The second phase included another building addition. The one-story, 1,500 SF addition expanded the existing multi-purpose space to accommodate the growing need for larger and more interactive special training programs for both staff and the community.
Phase 3 focused on overall site improvements such as creating a dedicated front entrance and drop-off area for the new two-story addition and repurposing existing parking spaces. Landscaping, site lighting and the relocation of site utilities were also provided.
