RRMM designed the renovations and additions to King George Middle School. A new 48,000 SF addition created a new auxiliary gym, an enhanced entrance, administration and guidance offices, a clinic, as well as a new kitchen and dining area. The renovations, totaling 113,540 SF, provided a new sprinkler system, HVAC and ADA upgrades, toilet renovations, and interior finish upgrades.
The addition was designed to allow for future expansion, giving King George County Schools long-term flexibility and planning to easily convert the school into a K-8 facility, if needed.
